How it works
- 1
You pick your images
Dropped, chosen or pasted — as many as you want. They are decoded in the tab and never sent anywhere.
- 2
They are drawn onto one canvas
At their actual pixel sizes, edge to edge, with whatever spacing you asked for.
- 3
You get one image back
Always a lossless PNG, so you keep your quality and your transparency.
This is two drawImage calls. Sites charge a subscription for it, put a watermark on the result and make you upload your screenshots to their server first. Remember that the next time something looks like it needs a service behind it.
Questions
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. The join happens in your browser. There is no server to upload to — this site is static files.
Does it lose any quality?
No. You always get a lossless PNG, whatever you put in. The dimensions are your originals added together — nothing is resized or re-compressed.
What if the images are different sizes?
Nothing is scaled or cropped. The canvas grows to fit the largest, and you choose whether the smaller ones go at the start, centre or end.
Can I add a gap between them?
Yes — it defaults to zero, and the slider goes to 200px. The gap is transparent unless you pick a colour.
How many images can I join?
As many as you like. They join in the order shown, which you can rearrange by dragging the thumbnails or using the arrows. Very large runs are limited by your machine's memory rather than by the tool.
About a hundred lines. No backend.
That is what the course teaches — building fast, and getting it in front of people.
